Obligatory Introductory Post
All right, you've stumbled onto this site, and I can already feel the question welling up in your head like a muffled scream (or maybe a screaming muffin)...
"Who is Jim McKee?"
Are you really SURE you want the answer to that question?
Well, as they say, "Be careful what you wish for." (And who the hell are "they", anyway?)
I'm a divorced guy living in Belleville, Michigan, which is about halfway between Detroit and Ann Arbor. Currently, I'm 45 years old. However, let me tell you that I was born July 30, 1960, so if you're reading this sometime in the far-flung future, then you'll have to do your own math. (See, you should've paid attention in math class. Neener neener neener!)
I have one child, a 19-year-old son who lives with me, and who is threatening to graduate high school in June. (crossing my fingers...) (UPDATE: As of October 2006, he lives out on his own...)
I'm 5 foot 9 inches tall, weigh roughly 300 pounds. I have blond hair and blue eyes; mustache and goatee. OK, so the blond is mixed with gray... like Washington, I cannot tell a lie! (Besides, trying to beat a lie detector can be a bitch! I mean, not that I would know...)
I work as a computer programmer for an insurance company. You don't need to know the company's name, but trust me when I say that if I told it to you, you'd recognize it. It's a good job, the pay's decent, and I work with a great group of folks. I wouldn't mind coming up with some sort of business on the side, just for some extra spending cash... but a workable inspiration hasn't come my way as of yet.
I will have the occasional drink at social functions. I don't smoke, don't do drugs (although if the doctor were to prescribe Vicodin... who am I to argue?).
I'm very proud to say that I'm a veteran of the United States Navy: two years on the USS Davis, out of Charleston, South Carolina, and two years in Squadron VS-31, out of Cecil Field, Florida.
Look at the beginnings of the paragraphs... I, I, I, I, I... See, it really IS all about me!!!
Anyway, that's probably enough of an introduction... Hell, if I give it all away now, who'll tune in for future episodes? Gotta leave the audience wanting more!
Thanks for reading -- be sure to check back soon for more thrilling adventures! Peace, y'all.

Hi Jim, Doggerel here. First: thanks for the link. Second: um, I think you may have made a mistake? I'm in the "silver" section, instead of "gold"? Yeah - I thought you might appreciate the heads up. You can move me on over any old time. Seriously. No rush. Thanks.
OMG Jim! JIMMMMMMMY!??? Is this where I embarass ya and say "I love YA, Big brother????
Not the comment, you'd or anyone else would expect from me eh?
Oh by the way...I'm not French....Just my last name is...maybe someday I'll marry again and get a short American name? LOL
Sign me,
Miss LaBrecque
(can U pronounce it?)
Really. I really liked visiting this site, Ladies, he's an interesting, opinionated man! And you want some that is educated, and NOT a Yes man, Fun to debate with, dance with and share conversations and different points of views. Nope, Jim did not pay for this endorsement! (AH, hmmmm James, when will the check be on it's way? LOL)In fact he will probably be surprised by this publishment. Jim is someone you can count on and call if you are "lost on the West side of the state." Oh, and I really hate it that my last name doesn't show up with the B as I've typed it, with a capital letter!
I <3 Jim McKee
xO*God
