Space, The Final Frontier...
I am so honored.Jean-Luc Picard, Captain of the Federation Starship Enterprise, has seen fit to include a link to my page on his journal. If any of you are, like me, feeling a void in your life because there are currrently no Star Trek programs on the air (not counting syndicated reruns), I urge you to check out Captain Picard's Journal. You never know who you might encounter there; could be any character from any of the Star Trek series, at any given time.
Live long and prosper!

Thanks for the advert, Jim. Look forward to your visits in the Comments.
Jean-luc is one sexy bald man! I just adore his writings...sigh
I miss TNG! ;o)
One of the dvd sets I plan on getting one day are TNG...and X-Files, of course.
Tell me you arnt one of "Those" people. Trekkies or Sci Fi Nerds or what ever they call them. The only part of the original Show I liked was Spock just because he did that cool mind meld thing and the neck pinch. Oh and the way Kirk always got laid on every episode.
Now Jean Luc got that Greek looking chica so that was cool and he had that Alien thing take him over and had tubes sticking outta his head, so he had that going for him.
Why do I know so much about this stuff and still hate it? The Boss is a HUGE Sci-Fi nut. Whats the one with McGiver in it? She loves that crap. That and my West Coast/Seattle Brother likes it also. (shakes head and looks down)
Pft. I've got a link to you but do I get any cyber love? No, you'd rather hug a Frenchman! A Frenchman!
Rainman, will it help if I tell you I'm also a sports fan (GO TIGERS!), and that I have NEVER played any role-playing games?
Mal, I am very sorry for the oversight, and I will add you very shortly.
(BTW, why did Frenchman Jean-Luc Picard have a VERY British acccent? They never did explain that.)
Captain: Would a large magnet affect Data's positronic brain? I think it might be funny watching him mess up simple math.
Superstar: You and me both, hon!
PW: TNG DVD sets are among the most expensive of any show... around $100 per season... compared to Season 1 of "Lost" at around $50.
Jim & PW,
Actually, Amazon has dropped the prices on seasons 1-3 to $50. With that and eBay, I was able to score the first six seasons (I bought season seven a few years ago) for under $300 total this past winter. DS9, if memory serves, has also dropped in price for its first few seasons.
However, given that the current trend in TV on DVD is complete series box set releases (look at The West Wing, Homicide, and Six Feet Under as recent examples), I would hold out in the hopes of just buying one big box set.
Also, PW? If memory serves, Amazon has the X-Files for $25 a season set at the moment ...
Series sets seem to be falling.
Perhaps Data has an anti-magnetic skull that will ward off magnets? Let's leave it at that.
